The brand new IMPACT-FOAM™ midsole combines with an EVA strobel board and IMPACT-ALG™ insoles to provide unmatched impact protection and comfort without diminishing board feel. They've also used their new 20% recycled RE/GRIP™ RUBBER for a lighter outsole that’s just as durable as normal rubber. To bolster the suede upper, DC added high-abrasion mesh panels that can stand up to griptape while allowing airflow to the feet. And to make it last even longer, the Metric is constructed with SUPER STITCH threads and hot melt TPU overlays. Every last detail of this shoe was designed for and by skateboarders… So when they say that the Metric is “1000X More Skateable,” they mean it.
