The best skate to get started in are the Impala and Chaya Melrose or vintage style skates, They come in a range of attractive colours to suit any style.
As a general rule of thumb, most heeled roller skates tend to have a narrow shape. Most asians will have a slighty wider foot shape and will need to take a size up. Flat heeled skates tend to be wider and are more forgiving and you can usually take your usual foot size. For most brands, the euro sizing is the most accurate. Check agaisnt the euro sizing in your usual sports shoes and compare it agaisnt the sizing chart to find your right size.
