We plonked the Mooks on to the Chris Farmer 09s for a full Xsjado package.
If you’ve probably noticed, we’re kinda pro Xsjado here at WL33, from previous Xsjado friendly posts on the blog to our more than unfair coverage of Xsjados in our shop inventory.
Since we got our batch of Ground Control Featherlight 2s we’ve been messing around with the setups in the shop. Its been fun – but I think we’ve stumbled across a custom that ownz all!
The Malibu Sunset USD Carbons – White Kelso Carbons, orange GC Featherlight 2s with matching laces and antis.
The USD Carbons feature a super stiff carbon fibre base and a minimalistic stylish leather skin. What does that mean? Super light, responsive, slim and stylish as hell.
Nimh Skates are as ‘core’ as you can get. Wholly skater owned, fiercely independent as they put it, the brand is owned by the boys behind Rat Rail Dist, who also run other skater owned brands such as Vicious, 4X4 and Ground Control.
As you would, or should we say SHOULD know, Rat Tail is headed by roller legends Brian Shima & Jon Elliott, who have both been influential in defining the sport’s image aesthetics and personality.
Likewise, the Nimh Shamans look unlike any other on the streets. Though it may borrow the popular ’skinned’ skate look, its black and contrasting orange highlights put it beyond the pack. The skates come complete with Ground Control Featherlight 2 frame for pure grinding pleasure.
We had mad fun last night. The shop has never seen so many bodies at one go! Was way too much for our 3hp shop air cond – but furg it. Don’t sweat the technique bitch!
Super duper congrats to TheMont-K.com team on a job well done.
