  After a lifetime of S4S second places, Lui finally wins a S4S title.  This year's king of malaysian street rollerblading takes home the RM500 cash prize from Wheel_Love and a swag of prizes from Cool Element, Rupert Rage, Rockpaperscissors & Surkrew with his disaster gap to fishbrain on the relau rails.   Biguppers too to 2nd and 3rd placers Fariq & Meme.  More pics and more to come. p/s - massive thanks goes out to Red Bull too for putting up with us the whole day and keeping the sticky sweet brew free flowing.  -sukeats

  Yeng and I dropped by the park last weekend to see how it was coming along. The street style skate plaza section looks almost ready. They'll be working on the bowls, snake runs and the rest in the coming weeks. Expected completion: 6 more weeks. Though, bear in mind - its COMPLETE in 6 weeks, doens't mean you can skate it in 6 weeks. But knowing the boarders, bikers and bladers of the country, you know we wont let something like security, cordon tape, exposed metal girders and other trivialities stop us ;) ^The completed street style skate plaza section ^Starting work ...

  Sometimes I think we've got it bad - ESPN dropped us, nobody knows what we do, kids rather skateboard than rollerblade bla bla bla.. the usual "low-self esteem" griping rollerbladers seem so keen on harping on about nowadays. Then I'm reminded of Abdil aka Furlong and his solo journey in bringing street luge into the mainstream. Lets face it, rolling holds nothing compared to the problems lugers face. Like us, they too were dropped by ESPN too, but waaayyy back in the early days after 1-2 outings in the mid-90s. I'm not all to familiar with the international luging scene, but ...
