  [gallery] Time to throw away them old fashioned ABEC rated bearings. You guys do know that there is very little difference between an ABEC1 or an ABEC9 right? Not unless you're a precision machine equipment. So, for the rest of us, we'll need a different standard to guide our bearing purchasing. So what are ILQ-9s? ILQ-9?s go beyond ABEC rating in terms of performance, durability, design, and materials.   The first batch took off pretty damn fast! You could say as fast as a bunch of marauding bladers on hopped up 80mm wheels with ILQ9 bearings. Anyway - we're back with a new batch of Powerblading Kizer Advance & Arrow frames. This time, we've given it a little Chinese New Year twist with red Powerslide FSK wheels. From what we hear, these wheels are better than the previous powerblading wheels. Designed for freeskating, these wheels have a wider profile and a lighter spoked hub.   As an over-the-hill skater, I can personally tell you that you can't depend on skating for 'exercise' anymore. Once you pass a certain age, skating will do more harm than good. Landing those tricks will still be as fun as day 1, but the falls aren't doing you any favours. I've recently picked-up jogging to supplement my skating.
