Kejohanan BMX Nasional

You gotta hand it to the BMX boys. You think your scene has got problems… you ain’t seen what they are up against. Like most other action sports, getting new people into the scene ain’t easy – even worse when a good all-around bike will set you back at least RM1.5k, that is like buying a skateboard AND a pair of blades together!

But yet, here they STILL are, chugging along, setting up their own distribution channels (Yea! Momentum Love!), producing their own clothing labels (w00t! Devise!), running a healthy online portal (waddap! KayuhBMX!) and as of yesterday putting on their own competition event – the Kejohanan BMX Nsional. With competitors coming in from Singapore, Japan & Philippines for what was supposed to be a ‘national level’ competition.

Zaid of Momentum Love and his team really did a commendable first effort, we’re proud to be a sponsor of the event, and can only expect bigger and better things from the local BMX scene.

p/s – big ups for Ken Jungnickel and Kotaro Tanaka from Japan for taking the time to drop by our shop before the competition.
