It was Go Skateboarding Day at Shah Alam Skatepark last night, but the bladers and other assorted wheeled friends were on hand to celebrate with our boarder brudders. While they skateboarders did their game of skate, we thought we’d throw in one of our own Old Man Blade Comp, seeing how in attendance were mostly from the old guard and those who recently got back into blading… guess the kids were eagerly preparing for their own ‘back-to-school’ celebration.
The format – the organiser (myself) would open a trick, only basic tricks, no switch-ups. Those who can match the trick progress to the next round. So a few souls and mizous later, Manai took home the big prize – a set of MYCK wheels and a shirt! Guess those daily solo blade sessions at the park paid off huh?
