Wheel Love will be working closely with iconic skate brand VANS in the coming weeks, managing and helping VANS Malaysia launch their new concept stores. The One Utama branch is already up and running, whilst the Pyramid one will begin operations early May.
So where exactly will Wheel Love fit in all this? Well, we’re offering our event management and sports marketing expertise (yes… we has those skillz) to help flesh out their “OWN THE STREETS” launch event on 14 May 2010 (5-7pm) at Sunway Pyramid (orange entrance). The Friday evening event will feature a jam session like never seen before with a gator pit flybox and wave grind rail (pics to come soon!). Best boarder, blader and biker of the day will take home exclusive VANS threads and kicks. Our favourite street artist Shieko and Kenji (Black Fryday) will also be on hand, showcasing their graff skills on specially prepared canvases made out of 30 skateboard decks.
Watch out too for special musical performances by local indie darlings Bunkface & Couple during the event.
