A natural born skeptic, I’ve always been doubtful of health supplements and ‘miraculous’ health aids (Lamp Berger, royal jelly and co.) The get-rich-quick MLM schemes behind these products does much to cloud my judgement.
As such, my distrustful hat was on when I met Mr. Harry Reninger, a rep for EFX, makers of the EFX hologram-embedded ‘health products’ at the Asian X Games in Shanghai recently. Similar to the Phiten bands you see here in Malaysia, EFX embedded products promise to improve your balance, strength, flexibility, focus, stamina and vitality whilst reducing stress, swelling, recovery time, jet-lag, car and motion sickness. Not exactly sure how a printed hologram tab can promise all that, but I’m not rocket scientist, so I’ll just take their word for it. EFX seems to be staking its claim on the new age and ‘extreme sports’ market – sponsoring surfers, snowboarders and a bunch of yoga practitioners.
I managed to score a EFX hologram embedded silicone wristband from Mr. Reninger and have been wearing it since the Asian X Games in May.
The million dollar question – DOES IT WORK?
The answer – I don’t know, but I haven’t taken it off since I got it.
I treat its supposed “powers” the way I regard superstition. I can’t explain and prove it but choose to stay on the safe side by not denying it”.
Aside from the successful resistance test performed on me by Mr. Reninger where I did feel a significant difference between having it on and off (which I’ve not been able to successfully replicate on anyone else), I feel no different. Can’t exactly say that my skating has improved or prove to you how my health has gotten any better since putting it on.
However, I do treat the band as a sort of ‘new-agey’ WWJD bracelet. It gives me a little boost of confidence just knowing its there (no, I can’t prove this either). But it has seen me through some life changing decisions (quitting job, opening shop) – coincidence? Most probably. But I’m chalking it down to EFX.
So, on to the second million dollar question – SHOULD YOU GET IT?
Answer – Again, I don’t know. But why not? But at US$25 a band, this shit ain’t cheap, and the price could possibly have some placebo effect on how you’ll feel about the product. However, even at RM100 a pop don’t expect high quality workmanship. The paint has already chipped off almost completely and it’ll probably hold up for another month or two before snapping.
In summary – I recommend the band, just don’t ask me why.

However, as Mr. Reninger told me – “I can only tell you so much, best way to convince you is to try it and find out for yourself.”
EDIT: We have them in stock now, go to our online shop SHOP.WL33.COM

Hey,
I was there with Harry Reninger! Yes, we pass the wristband to the X Game participants.
As we use to say ‘Try before you buy’. Feel it yourself first.
We have an office in Singapore – EFX Performance Pte Ltd and if anyone like to know more about EFX, fell free to contact us.
By the way, our new wristband will not have the above mentioned problems of snapping, etc
Matthew
EFX Performance Pte Ltd

new stockwells coming in soon!

“I’ll take their word for it”. Are you serious? This the biggest load of rubbish I have ever heard. This isn’t the first magic bracelet to be marketed. Look up the Q-Ray bracelet and see how they ended up. This is fraud: plain and simple. Not one bit of scientific evidence exists. Why? Because it doesn’t work.
Any outlet in singapore in west area that they sell this bands?
contact the singaporean distributor @ http://www.efxsportsasia.com/contactus.html
You guys MUST be trolling. This a sticker on a plastic wristband. It does nothing. It has no use or value whatsoever. You cannot embed anything into a manufactured inanimate object like a sticker. There is no human frequency it is tapping into. Don’t you get it? The only benefit here is to the “inventors” sitting back on a pile of fraudulent cash with lots of beautiful girls.
is the large band the biggest size you have
sorry – we don’t sell the bands. contact the distributor.
dear all..

we have them at http://shop.wl33.com/?s=efx
we can send them to singapore via post if necessary
I purchased one of these braclets and i feel i just paid 30 bucks for a silcon wrist band i could have picked up on the street, i believe that what i felt when i purchased this was mind over matter and the hope that it was true therfore i have made it true and has so many others i’m sure, now only after a day of having it i realize that i am an idiot.. i gave 30 bucks away to what i now feel is a scam, definetly impacted what i thought was common sense but it seems i have none and i have definetly learned from this. So to anyone thinking of buying this product i urge you not to, instead i want you to take a rubber band, write EFX on it and truly believe you have one and bam! you pretty much do! amazing!
LOL
I was talked into a EFX bracelet. as soon as I put it on i seemed to feel better wore it for a couple months and not sure why but took it off for about 2 weeks the little aches and pains came back. And put it back on they went away. I guess I’m sold not sure how or why it works but for me it seems to. Also my wife got on the same time. she WON’T take hers off. Plus the tests ars fun to do on your friends. Then have a few more drinks and try it if nothing else it’s fun!!
