You couldn’t blame us for trying, it seemed like the perfect idea – everyone was in town for the Asian X Games trials, there was free grub and a pretty decent screening hall. But sadly, it wasnt to be. The 3 lessons learnt:
1 -Never do a competition after a competition. Everyone was too whacked out to even care, most already left.
2 – Don’t screen someone else’s video. Best to just produce your own, feature the locals.
3 – Don’t do it in Kiara. No offense to the generous guys at the Kiara Skatepark complex, but that place was way too stiff for our liking. Felt too much like a class lecture.
In any case, we’d like to say thanks to those who stayed back to support and hung out. We’ll do a better one next time.

the kiara hall itself wasnt that bad.
its just the wrong kind of vibe….wayyy too formal. made it feel like a classroom (which is was).
