Just like everyone, I’ve got my fair share of bad days. It’s just one of those days when nothing seems to go right. Your mind is full of ideas and possibilities of pushing your skating to the next level but your body doesn’t want to cooperate. The communication between your brain and feet is lost.

Just when it seems that all is lost, think about of all the tricks that you can still do. The ones that come naturally from 13 years of skating. Learning a new trick is like shaping a knife, perfecting old ones are shapening your blades. Sometimes, you just have to appreciate what you can do already instead of learning new ones on a bad day while losing the fun of skating.

what hurts more than not learning new tricks is losing your old ones!
