It started off as a pretty great idea, but then again – all ideas conceived while drunk tend to sound good at the time. I think it was Yeng who said “lets go drink, get mabuk then go play bowling weh!” And of course, the rest of the semi senget people on the table thought “hella cool! One more round for the clever man!”
So, after a pretty long day at the Street Life Exposé event, we (Bala, his lady Angeline, Sanjit, Yeng and I) got loaded up on pizza, beer and Guinness at Laundry and then headed to Pin Junction at Cineleisure Damansara to show them pins who’s boss.
Here is where it goes downhill, yes, being sloshed and trying to do anything physical is pretty hilarious, but we forgot one very important point, none of us actually knew how to bowl (well ok, I didn’t know how to bowl). So barely through our 3rd round, we were bitchin’ bout sore arms and that the lanes weren’t straight.
So, in conclusion, good idea, not so great execution but it was fun nevertheless, watching Yeng shot putt and do a fakie unnatural moves.
