After being on Blanks and MYCKs for the last two years, I felt that it was time to check out the competition. Here is my review on the 4×4 Chris Haffey Pro Wheels. This review will be periodically updated time goes on, so you’ll get to see how the wheels hold up.

But first, here are my credentials; I weigh a hefty 90kg (at last count) and ride on a freestyle frame in a hot and humid country with less than perfect pavements. So, lets just say that wheels tend to wear out quickly with me. Most wheels, brand names and generic ones like Blanks last me approximately a month and a half before wearing out with flatspots, decored hubs or just plain ‘wearing out’. I skate on mostly on weekends (what with work commitments and all).
Week 1

I got my 4 set wheel pack and 8 matching blue shielded ABEC5 bearings from Cool Element skateshop for RM110 and RM18 respectively. Upon installing them into my Xsjados, I went for a quick spin, and no doubt, the wheels perform very well. New wheels + new bearings = bliss. Nothing much else to say at the moment, so lets see how they hold up next week.
